Shari’s Brushed Background
For this tutorial you will need PSP 7, 2020, and FM Tile Tools and a graphic of your choice.

OK, here we go!

Open your graphic in PSP 7, or you may use this one. Right click to save. Duplicate, minimize original. Larger size is OK! The one we will be using here is 300 X 277px.

Now go to Edit, Copy.

Open 2020, Edit, paste as new image

Go to image, Seamless Tile

Go to Edit, Copy

Back to PSP, Edit, paste as new image

Effects, Artistic Effects, Brush Strokes, leave default settings, choose a lighter color from your image.

Click OK.

Then go to image/your plugins FM Tile Tools and choose Blend Emboss, with the default settings.

Edit, copy

Back to 2020, Edit, paste as new image.

Image, Seamless tile once again.

Edit, Copy

Back to PSP, Edit, paste as new image

If your image is large enough and what I usually do is with my selection tool I select a small square from the center.

If you do this, you will need to tile this image as well...

Edit, copy

Back to 2020, Edit, paste as new image.

Image, Seamless tile once again.

Edit, Copy

You should now have a nice seamless background for your website or stationery.
