For those of you who may need to download the Sun JRE
Java program, you can do that here:
If you plan to use the Sun JRE program, you
will need the instructions for the <IFRAME> coding
method for viewing applets in Outlook Express and Windows
Mail. You will not be able to see applets without
using the <applet> tag in the stationery script as we
usually have done. Instructions for this coding can be found at
this link:
And there is some other things that
I would check. If you are unable still to see some applets, but
not others. Some of them require the same Metacreations Filters
that you need for viewing stationery. The links for specific
pages needed at Bill Scott's site, Letterman Stationery, and some other
valuable downloads can be found on our AAA Stationery
Viewing Help Page for your
convenience.
While you are doing some upgrading and updating,
be sure to browse through Bill Scott's site.
There is a fix there for DirectX 6 and 8 and some
DLL files that you might also need. He
also has an .exe file there that you can run which will tell
you exactly what is installed on your PC and what
installations are missing from there. Lots of valuable information can be found on Bill's Site about
scripts, tips on how to clean your PC, some programs that he has written
. . . and some other helpful programs
also.
Dont forget to bookmark it !
For those of you who have
Windows XP
(especially with Service Pack 2 or 3 installed) or Windows Vista 32 Bit
or Vista 64 Bit,
you can find assistance on the

or

I hope that this information has been
helpful and will solve some of your problems. I am adding a zip files on
the group site with the <IFRAME> information for the XP and Vista
users. It will take some time however to finish amending the site
and group files, so please be patient.
Together we will figure it out.
Hugs,
Karen
