Here is another wonderful applet. I think I need a dramamine after working on this one though. Step #1 This applet is also rather easy to assemble. You can choose any image for this, and there is little or no preparation required. A frame on this will not work very well. I tiled this on horizontally and vertically with FM Tile Tools Seamless Tile Filter, however, i tried it also with the image tiled in 20/20 and it worked fine. What? No water in your image? Again, that's fine with this applet. In fact, you need not use an image, it could be shapes instead or a design.To begin, you will
need the Hawk Ray.class file which you can find in the files section at
Yahoo groups. The applet will require the image dimensions. I always
try to make a note of them when making changes to the image, such as
applying filters or sizing the image down. That just makes things
fall into easier for me. You will find your own way of doing things
that will be easier for you as well.
Step #2 Now that you have
chosen your image, you are ready for the script part of the
applet.
The changes you will
need to make are in highlighted in red below.
For webpages
use :
<CENTER><applet code=HawkRay.class
width="300" height="229">
<param name="image" value="your website addy/your image.jpg"></applet></CENTER> For stationery
use :
** You
will notice there is a difference in the applet tag here.
You must use a
codebase= in the tag for the
stationery to work.
<CENTER><applet
codebase="your website addy/"
code=HawkRay.class width="300" height="229">
<param name="image" value="your website addy/your image.jpg"> </applet></CENTER> I hope this
helps you get underway ...... can't wait to see what you come upwith! Hugs, Karen ![]() A very "special" thanks
once again to a "very special lady", NormaJean, for your wonderful piano
accompaniment.....just beautiful
