Here is another rather
easy applet to make. You can choose any image for this, and little or no
preparation is required. If you want to use a frame , remember that it
will be subject to the laser beam effect. You can, however use one without
making a separate layer. No water in your image? Again, that's fine with
this applet.
Step #1
To begin, you will
need to upload the LaserBanner.class file which you can find in the files
section at Yahoo groups to your website. To use the dimensions of
the image you have chosen for your applet. I always try to make a
note of it when making changes to the image, such as applying filters or
sizing the image down. That just makes things fall into easier for
me. You will find your own way of doing things that will be easier
for you as well.
Step #2 Now that you have
chosen your image, you are ready for the script part of the
applet.
