First of all, I would
like to say, thanks so much to the talented creators of these
wonderful applets! Links to their
personal sites, and other locations where you can find
applets, can be found both below
and on our links page. These applets are freeware / shareware,
however you may purchase many of
them from the applet creators' sites for a small fee. The
registered versions tend to do much more than the free ones you
will see here.
Be it known that I am in no
way claiming these applet codes as my own work. I have
altered their codes for our use, but have kept the coding as
close to the creator's original code as possible. However, I
have simplified the codes somewhat in an attempt to help
others to be able to use the applets more easily in Outlook
Express Stationery, newer versions of Windows mail, other mail
programs and on their websites for their personal use.
In most cases, I try to put the parameter choices I have cut
out below on the tutorial page somewhere, so that you will know
that these can be used as well, but are not necessary to make the
applet work (for example - text).
As of January, 2011, we will be trying to adapt
to the use of the <IFRAME> tag in our stationery creations
as a courtesy to all of our members. Eventually this tag will be
neede replace the <applet> tag that we have used in our
scripts in the past, so we are learning to use it now, so that our
members who have operating systems newer than XP can view our
applet our creations. As with any change comes a little confusion,
but we will figure it out together and endure....we always
do.
